Kanye stopped his Florida concert midway and screamed some profanities at his lighting crew before resuming the show LOL. He was performing at the Tampa Forum on Saturday night when he got really pissed off because of some mishap with the sound and lighting crew. Only a few seconds into his third song of the night, he wanted the music be stopped as he screamed at his lighting and sound crew for ‘EFFING UP’. Hahaha you gotta love Kanye, my man…
In this video taken by an audience member below, Kanye is seen performing in front a pillar of light as the audience shouts and applauds. But he abruptly stops rapping and demands, ‘Turn off both lights now!’ before adding: ‘Does someone want to talk to me and tell me why they are f***ing up the show in Tampa?’ The rapper is then seen storming to the back of the stage where he bends down to confer with his technical crew. The crowd appears to enjoy his antics, cheering him on. The Say You Will singer goes on to berate a tech named Laura for failing to give him the ‘deep voice’ effect through the sound system.
Other complaints made by the rapper include that his likeness on the massive LED screen projecting his image to the thousands gathered was in colour when it was supposed be monochrome. After a short delay, Kanye is seen stalking back to the centre of the stage before performing a rousing rendition of Send It Up. The tantrum took place in front of 7,000 concert goers. The hip hop artist later ranted during another song, according to several attendees, as per usual comparing himself to Steve Jobs, Thomas Edison and Nelson Mandela.
The name dropping was in defence against his ‘haters’ as he claimed that the aforementioned luminaries had also had their fair share of detractors. Kanye’s Yeezus tour comes to a close in Toronto two days before Christmas, a holiday he will most likely spend with his partner Kim Kardashian’s family. The pair have been setting up their nest in Los Angeles after buying an $11m home over the summer, which they are currently in the middle of doing a ton of work to.
